Terms & Conditions
Last updated 14 September 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and every order you place with AASHAS (“Aashas”, “we”, “us”), a designer boutique in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. By browsing the site or placing an order, you accept them.
About These Terms
Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Legal Disclaimer form part of these terms. Where one of them covers a subject in more detail, that policy applies.
Every Piece Is Made to Order
We are a designer boutique, not a warehouse. Every piece is made for you after you order it — cut, stitched and finished to the size or measurements you give us. The rest of these terms follow from that: a piece made for one person cannot be resold, which is why we do not accept returns or exchanges.
Making a piece takes time. Typically, from your order to the piece being ready:
- Casual wear: 1 week
- Kidswear: 2 weeks
- Long gowns and anarkalis: 2 weeks
- Lehengas: 3 to 4 weeks
- Custom-measured pieces: 4 to 5 weeks
These are estimates; fabric availability and the handwork involved can move them. We can sometimes make a piece faster for an urgent occasion, at an extra charge — contact us before you order.
Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 to place an order, or have a parent or guardian place it for you. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account; tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently or abusively.
Orders and Confirmation
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when your payment succeeds and we confirm the order by email. We may decline an order — for example where we cannot make or deliver the piece, or where we suspect fraud — and if we do, we refund you in full.
Prices, Taxes and Currency
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable GST. Tax is never added at checkout; your invoice shows the breakdown.
- If you choose another currency, prices are converted at that day’s exchange rate and you are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank may add its own conversion or foreign transaction fee.
- Shipping is charged separately from the price of the piece, and is shown at checkout before you pay. See our Shipping Policy.
- We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already placed. If a piece is listed at a clearly wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full; we will tell you before we do.
Payment
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials. An order is confirmed only once Razorpay confirms the payment to us; if a payment is taken but the order does not confirm, we will either complete the order or refund you in full.
Sizing and Custom Measurements
Where you choose custom sizing, we make the piece to the measurements you give us. Please follow our Size Guide and check your measurements before you submit them. A piece made correctly to measurements that were given incorrectly is not a defect.
Changes and Cancellation
To change the size, measurements or colour of an order, or to cancel it, message us on WhatsApp within 24 hours of placing it. After that, or as soon as work on your piece has begun — cutting the fabric or starting the embroidery — it cannot be changed or cancelled. A cancellation we agree to is given as store credit, not as a refund. Our Refund Policy has the detail.
Shipping and Store Pickup
We deliver within India and to any country our courier partners serve, through third-party couriers of our choosing, whatever the value of the order. Shipping is charged separately, and international customers pay any customs duties and import taxes charged in their country. You can also collect any order from our boutique in Jubilee Hills instead. Our Shipping Policy has the detail.
Returns and Refunds
As every piece is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not give cash refunds. If a piece reaches you damaged, defective or not as ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will repair or remake it; our Refund Policy explains how. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Product Images
Every garment we list is real and is the piece we make. Most of our product images show that garment on a model created with artificial intelligence, and carry a small mark saying so. Colour, texture and fit in any image are a general representation, not an exact one. Our Legal Disclaimer explains how the images are made.
Intellectual Property and Use of the Site
The designs, images, text, and the Aashas name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may share links and use images for personal, non-commercial purposes; anything else needs our written permission.
You agree not to interfere with the site, try to gain unauthorised access to it or to another customer’s account, scrape it at a scale that burdens it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example a piece arriving late for an occasion because of a courier or customs delay. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before it comes to that, please talk to us — most things are resolved quickly.
